Host where the staff takes pride in making customers happy

I am writing to say that I am absolutely floored with the exceptional support I was given. The account was setup in just over an hour. I had a technical problem connecting to my new VPS. After an hour or so of troubleshooting, the problem was resolved. The problem was NOT WITH THEIR SERVICE, it was a configuration issue with the ssh client on my Mac. Instead of getting the standard "it's not our problem" so often heard from IT support people, Peter of Rimu patiently helped to resolve my issue. I've been an IT consultant and developer for over ten years, and I've never had such a good support experience. Print it on a sign, put it on your website, take an ad out in the local paper - I say you guys are great, and I hope for the success of your business.

Affected Data CenterDallas (TX)

Currently seeing network issues affecting some of our servers.  We are investigating.

Looks like a core switch is down affecting about 4 cabinets.  Working on resolving the network issue.

Update @UTC 1517: Replacing a core switch with a spare.

Update @UTC 1527: All public networking should be restored now (cross links moved to different switches).  Private networking to some cabinets is still affected.  Waiting on the replacement switch to be racked to resolve those.

Update @1628: Our network engineer reported some networking issue when the new switch joined the stack.  This caused a network blip which affected other servers.  He is investigating.

Update at @1700: The network stack failed when the new switch joined it.  The public network for a number of cabinets is now affected.  Our network engineer is re-setting up that stack.

Update @1725: Stack has been re-setup.  Some switches in our cabinets need a manual push in order to pass traffic again.  More and more servers coming back up over the last couple of minutes.

Update @1740: All network issues should now be resolved.  Let us know if you are experiencing any problems still?
