Affected LocationAuckland

A few servers are unreachable at the moment at the Auckland data center. We are investigating the issue.

Update: Notification says technicians are working on it there is a connectivity issue affecting a significant portion of the datacenter
Update 2215 UTC: connectivity outage appears to be the result of a peering issue upstream. Datacenter technicians have escalated the issue appropriately.
Update 2230 UTC: some gear is responding again, we have been advised there may be another short blip before full access is restored
Update 2250 UTC: everything should be responding normally again. Please open a support ticket with us if that is not the case.

Update: The datacenter reports they had issues while migrating away from network equipment at the old datacenter. The problem was caused by human error and should not reoccur. They report they are no longer reliant on any equipment at the old datacenter and that this should improve network stability and performance.
