Affected Data CenterDallas (TX)

We have experienced a major power outage at our Dallas datacenter. The outage is on our upstream at the datacenter service entrance and is affecting a significant portion of the datacenter.

Current status: Power is back.  98% of our physical servers are up.  We are working through the list of downed physical servers and restarting them.  (Slow going.)

Support queue: It is big and busy.  Please try to keep any support requests to server down issues.

VPSs in Dallas: Most should be up now.

Dedicated servers: there are a handful still down the vast majority are up.

If your VPS or dedicated server is not responsive or not working 'normally' then please pop in a support ticket and we can investigate.

Current actions: working on a list of known, down, dedicated servers.  Replying to support requests as we get them.

SLA credits: we will be sorting this out when the dust clears.

Outage report and 'what happens next' and how can we handle these kinds of things report: after the dust clears.

We will likely be under a very high support load for a while.

Please label urgent requests with a subject line URGENT.

Please send any non urgent requests to us tomorrow?  We will have lots of urgent issues to deal with.  And the fewer requests we have the better we will be able to triage the support queue.  We will reply to non-server-down requests after higher priority server issues are addressed.
