The mail1.25mail.st service will be moved to an alternate host. Email services on this host will be unavailable during this process.  The move is so that we may decommission an older server, and move the service to a newer server (better disks, performance, and hardware).

During a move we stop the service, copy its disk image to the new host, then restart it. The service will be down during the copy. After the move the service should be running exactly as it was before.

You will be unable to access emails on the mail servers (via IMAP) during this work.  Emails sent to your email addresses will typically be queued up and delivered after the move is completed.

We estimate this will take a 1-4 hours to complete. We will start the move on Monday 20th 7pm Dallas time (1am UTC, 2pm NZST).

You should not need to take any action before or after the move. However, do let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
