We are upgrading the hosting stacks on some of our virtual machine host servers. This includes host802 virtual machine's hypervisor host. The upgrade requires about 1 hour of downtime. We prep the host server. Stop the VMs. Upgrade the host server distro version and Xen server software. Restart the host. Then start the VMs back up. The newer software versions are typically more stable and perform better. The host upgrade does not change your VM's distro version or disk image or IP. We have scheduled your host server upgrade to be performed over the off peak hours of Saturday evening (Dallas Time) #
